Our CEO, David Chandler, has accumulated over 25 years of vertically-integrated aviation experience. His intimate knowledge of flight training; technical maintenance; tooling; flight operations management, international ferry flying as well as line flying has seen him play an instrumental role in the current structuring of our group.
As a commercial pilot with close to 7000 hours on more than 15 types of aircraft, David remains hands-on by continuing to fly for Avex Air Transport, and mentoring our talented pilot pool. He also serves on the boards of a number of sister aviation companies.
Grant Adnams is responsible for our regional daily flight operations, policies and procedures, pilot qualifications and CAA compliance. He joined Avex Air in 2011 as a Dornier 328 Line Pilot and is also qualified and actively flies the King Air 350 and Cessna Caravan, both internationally and domestically. He has accumulated approximately 8000 hours total flight time.
During the course of his career Grant has held numerous leadership positions including Contract Base Manager, Part 121 Captain, Line Training Captain, Dornier 328 Jet Training Captain and Type Rating Instructor. He enjoys honing his flying skills his spare time on his privately owned Yak 52 Aerobatic Aircraft.
Nicola Carr liaises directly with Avex Transport’s client-base, presenting them with exciting flying solutions and related costs. Nicola has gained a wealth of operational charter experience over twenty years, a small part of which was gained during her time flying as a corporate VIP flight attendant. Her enthusiasm, bubbly personality and love of flying has has seen her become a familiar name within the aviation business.
